0:00 Your trucks, where full bins get tipped, and your yard. Dispatch uses all three to plan each driver's loads.
0:09 Open Settings, and choose the Fleet tab.
0:13 Each truck has a name and a rego, and a box for every bin size. Put in how many empty bins of that size fit on the truck.
0:24 Full bins back is how many full bins it carries at once. That's how many pickups it can do before a trip to the yard.
0:33 The switch says whether the truck's in service. Press Save on the truck after a change. The bin icon removes a truck, after you confirm. New truck adds one.
0:46 Load planning, underneath, turns the load gauge on Dispatch on or off. With it on, Dispatch shows each driver's loads, marks where the truck needs to reload, and flags a bin that truck can't carry. It warns you. It never stops a booking. And After a pickup says whether your drivers head back to the yard, or to a tip site.
1:11 Tip sites are where a full bin can be tipped. Each one has a switch, a name and an address. With at least one switched on, every pickup on Dispatch lets you choose where its bin goes. There's no delete, only off, because jobs remember the tip by name.
1:30 And Yard is where every run starts and ends. Type the address and pick it from the suggestions, or tap the map, and drag the pin to your gate if it's somewhere else. Press Save yard.
1:44 That's your trucks, tip sites and yard. Next, stopping double bookings with availability.
