0:00 The automatic texts your customers get. A booking confirmation, a text when the driver's on the way, and a pickup reminder the evening before.
0:10 Open Settings, and choose the Texts tab.
0:15 At the top is the number your texts come from. Customers can reply to it, and you'll see their reply on the job. Anyone who replies STOP is never texted again. If there's no number yet, ask us to set one up.
0:30 There are three texts, each with its own switch. Booking confirmed goes once, when a booking's confirmed. Driver on the way goes when the driver taps Navigate on a stop. And Pickup tomorrow goes the evening before, to every pickup on tomorrow's board.
0:49 What it says is the wording. Use the buttons to drop in things like the customer's first name, the bin size or the delivery date, and the preview shows exactly what a customer would get, with how many texts it takes. Reset to default puts the original wording back.
1:08 To see one arrive, put your own mobile in Send tests to, and press Send me a test. That number isn't saved.
1:18 Send the pickup reminder at sets the hour it goes out. And Link to your terms fills in a link to your terms and conditions. Leave it blank, and that sentence drops out.
1:30 Press Save when you're done. The notes at the bottom show how many texts you've sent this month.
1:38 That's your customer texts. Next, connecting Xero or QuickBooks.
